Memorandums of Agreement and Understanding
• Agreement between the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for Conducting Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act Activities (2003)
  This agreement between the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) ensures that the FWS is involved in USACE projects to solve water resources development problems that involve fish and wildlife. This Agreement contains provisions for the transfer of funds from USACE to the FWS for activities pursuant to the Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act (FWCA).
• Agreement Regarding Shared Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act Authority (2018)
  Description on the approach that the National Marine Fisheries Service and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service use for implementing their shared authority under the Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act. The memo further guides these Services toward collaborative goals, including Improves conservation for water resource projects, strengthened Services partnership, Increased efficiency, and clarity regarding the transfer of funds between the Services and water resource construction agencies.
• Delegation of Authority for establishing transfer of funds agreements with National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Fisheries pursuant to the National Wildlife Coordination Act (FWCA) (2019)
  This memo delegates the authority to transfer funds to the US Fish and Wildlife Service and to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Fisheries to carry out investigations required to fulfil the goals of the Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act to the Chief of Engineers, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, from the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Civil Works).
• Memorandum of Agreement between the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Department of the Army regarding the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program and Corps of Engineers Flood Damage Reduction Projects (2000)
  This Memorandum of Agreement between the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Department of the Army underscores the policy of both agencies to facilitate the use of non-structural approaches to reducing flood damages where practicable, and that the construction of levees on Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) lands is incompatible with open space uses and, therefore, will not be recommended for implementation. The restriction on levee construction generally does not apply to structures designed specifically for ecosystem preservation, restoration, or enhancement. Structures for these purposes are deemed consistent with the open space uses requirement of the HMGP.
• Memorandum of Agreement Between the Federal Emergency Management Agency and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on Provisions of Goods and Services Related to the Identification of Floodplains (2019)
  This agreement between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) establishes a mutual framework for the responsibilities of the parties for the provision of USACE goods and services related to the identification of floodplains and other flood-risk areas.
• Memorandum of Agreement between the Minerals Management Service, U.S. Dept. of Interior, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Department of the Army (1999)
  This agreement between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Minerals Management Service establishes procedures to ensure timely coordination as each carries out their respective responsibilities concerning the use of Outer Continental Shelf sand, gravel, and shell resources.
• Memorandum of Agreement Between the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration National Marine Fisheries Service and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for Conducting Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act Activities (2020)
  This agreement between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration - National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) ensures NMFS involvement to develop water resources development projects that maximize the protection of fish and wildlife. This agreement ensures that NMFS is invited, and occasionally funded, to participate early and throughout the planning process.

  This two-way agreement between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Bureau of Reclamation establishes a framework for the respective responsibilities for the provision of goods and services between the two parties, including include planning, design, construction, flood damage reduction, environmental restoration, recreation, research and development, emergency management, hazardous or toxic materials removal, engineering or technical assistance, water supply management, dam safety, hydropower, technical engineering, construction, fish and wildlife, ecosystem restoration, recreation, emergency management, and training and professional development.
• Memorandum of Agreement Between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (2023)
  This agreement between USACE and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) establishes a framework for the respective responsibilities of each agency for the provision of USACE and NRCS goods and services, including planning, design, construction, engineering or technical assistance, flood risk reduction, erosion control, emergency response and disaster assistance, environmental/ecosystem restoration, hazardous or toxic materials removal and/or mitigation, invasive species control, permit assistance, cultural resources coordination, research and development, laboratory testing, training and professional development, and such other related goods or services that may be agreed upon in the future.
